Music and radio fans in Israel are well familiar with Sixty-four years old radio persona, presenter, editor, writer and world music expert, Dubi Lenz. was Head of the music department of Galei Zahal, IDF radio station, for fifteen years and editor and for the last three decades presenter of HaKol Zorem (Everything Flows) a popular world music and jazz radio show.
Dubi was the artistic director of “Hearing the World” festival in Tel Aviv, as well the director of the Jazz Festival in Givatayim. He was a member of the board of the European Forum of Worldwide Music Festivals (EFWMF) and it’s president, member of the music department of the Israeli ministry of culture and recipient of the Chevalier (knight) medallion of the Order of Arts and Letters of the government of France.
Combining in-depth comprehension of worldwide music with management skills, teaching qualifications and the ability to form and promote cultural liaison, he is a lecturer, an educator, press and TV journalist and guiding music oriented tours to South America, West Africa and the Caribbean.
