The Oz Noy trio Feat. Dave Weckl & Will Lee

Oz Noy started playing the guitar at a very young age and began playing with the finest musicians in Israel when he was only 16. In 1996, he arrived in New York and quickly blended into the local jazz scene. Noy has been greatly influenced by traditional jazz, which he mixes with blues, pop, rock, fusion and funk to create an original, exciting groove. He embarked on his solo career in 2003 and has since released four albums.

Noy’s ensemble includes two renowned musicians: bassist Will Lee and drummer Dave Weckl. Lee has appeared on more than 1500 records and has collaborated with many famous musicians, such as Frank Sinatra, Barbara Streisand, The Barker Brothers, Pat Metheny, Steely Dan, Ringo Star, James Brown and Barry Manilow. You may recognize him from David Letterman’s show, where he has been playing the bass for over two decades. Weckl, who has been labeled one of the best drummers of all times, has collaborated with Michael Barker, Simon & Garfunkel, Chick Corea and many other musicians.

The trio successfully performs with original materials written by Noy, who combines jazz with rock and funk to create pieces that have a unique New York scent.
